Dozer Day Cool Event Next Weekend! May 16-17

If you have a little guy or gal who loves Bull Dozers, Firetrucks, Police Cars and the like, head over to the Clark County Fairgrounds on Saturday for Dozer Day.  The tickets, through Portland Perks, are only $5 and it sounds like a day of fun, and it's for a good cause.

This unique two event is held at the Clark County Fairgrounds 20 minutes from Downtown Portland (I-5 to Exit 9) It’s a day of fun for the kids and adults all while benefitting many local children’s charities. Purchase tickets early to save money and avoid the long ticket lines on the day of the event!

Arts For All $5 Art, Music and Culture Tickets for Oregon Trail Card Holders

Arts For All is a non-profit in the Portland area that offers $5 tickets to art, music and culture events for Oregon Trail Card holders.  If you get food stamps (SNAP) and you have an Oregon Trail card, you qualify for the reduced price tickets.  They have an impressive list of organizations that offer the tickets.  You may have to go to the specific websites or call the organization to find out how to go about getting those specially price tickets.

    May The Fourth Be With You!!!!

    It'a almost Star Wars Day!!!  This weekend is Free Comic Book Day, AND Toys R Us wants to celebrate Star Wars Day with a FREE Lego Event.  12-2pm at TRU stores kids get a FREE Wookie Gunship set.  How cool is that!  Too bad adults can't participate!!!!



    And Oregon City Library will be having a party and costume contest on May 4th...

    • Monday, May 4, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
      Come join us for a Star Wars party! Make your own light-saber and train in the way of the Jedi! Eat snacks that originated in a galaxy far, far away! Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character to compete in the costume contest, with out of this world prizes!
      PLEASE NOTE:  The Library will be closing at 5:30 PM on May 4. No library services will be available during the program. Doors reopen for the program at 5:45 PM.
