I follow a number of family friendly blogs, and once in a while I come across something I really want to share with you. I list a fair amount of library activities on this site. Usually they are free, they are fun for kids and adults, and it gets you out to the library! I found this great article from What We Do All Day that has some fantastic DOS AND DON’TS OF STORY TIME (TIPS FROM A VOLUNTEER).
As you know, you are the first, and always most, influential teacher for your child. They are always looking to you to see how to act and what to do. If you model great, respectful behavior at the library, so will they! (Eventually ;-) )
