A Mom with a Lesson Plan recently posted a great blog about how to read to active kids.

There are some great tips there to get your wild ones interested and listening to the books you are trying to mark on their summer reading logs.

  1. I was looking for a good books picture and I found this one in among my photos of some of the great adventures I have had with my mom and sisters. I love roadside attractions and especially fairy tale parks. The Enchanted Forest was one of my best childhood memories. We visited this park in 2007 maybe, and while there we had discovered a little pigs house that was freshly torn down. It was pouring rain and the ground was still dry! Since that time all of the little houses and even Humpty Dumpty were vandalized beyond repair. Why are people such jerks? Children should be taught to build, not destroy! Sorry, I just had to rant. All the Blog posters couldn't put Humpty back together again. :(
