Fall Storytime Series

Join local author, illustrator, and naturalist Audrey Sauble for a special storytime. Gather in the Nature Center for a story, activity, and walk introducing children (and adults) to forest plants and animals.

Education Pavilion Tours

Visualize the future learning space. Join project management and architects for an upcoming Pavilion Tour to get a firsthand view of project accomplishments thus far, and learn about all the details in making this a state-of-the-art classroom and culturally grounded gathering space.  Tour sizes will be limited.

Nature Journaling: Leaves

Friday, Oct 18th 3:30pm

Join local author and science illustrator Audrey Sauble to learn about nature journaling at Tryon Creek. Each class will introduce a variety of tools and techniques, and participants will learn to record their nature observations using both art and text. $10-20 Sliding Scale Find details and register here.

Volunteer Stewardship

Join Tryon Park Rangers and Friends for a series of volunteer days focusing on tree ivy and plant care. Start at 9am.  Saturdays meet at Nature Center. Thursdays meet at Boones Ferry trailhead. Use the links below to find a day that works for you.
