Portland Pickles & Gresham Greywolves Youth Camps Kick off this week! 











Hi Pickles fans, our youth camps kick off this week in Portland & Gresham. There are still spots available for boys and girls 6 to 13.

Portland Pickles instructional clinics are for youth players who want to improve and enhance their baseball skills while having a great time. Participants will learn techniques to improve their hitting, bunting, throwing, base running, pitching, and catching. The players will be instructed by the Pickles coaches and players. The participants will have the opportunity to take instruction and work one-on-one with Pickles players that come from a wide range of nationally renowned college baseball programs from around the country. The camps will focus on quality instruction of the fundamentals of the game. The coaches and players are dedicated to helping young players improve their skills and move closer to realizing their baseball dreams. Our goal of these camps is for each participant to walk away with a positive experience, better baseball fundamentals, and a smile on their face.



Pickles camps will take place @ Walker Stadium, SE Portland
Greywolves camps will take place @ Oslund Field, Gresham

Dear Jody,
Spring and summer camp registration is now live! Click here to see the full schedule and sign your child up for an experience in nature they won't forget.
From searching for Coastal Giant Salamanders in our sanctuary to learning wildnerness survival skills on Mt. Hood to spending a week at Redwoods National Park, we've got day camps, overnighters and week-long excursions for the artist, adventurer, and wildlife lover in your family. Each of our K - 12th grade programs offers a framework for our professional educators to help every camper build an authentic and meaningful relationship with the natural world, all while playing games, making friends, and exploring the forest, gorge, mountains, coast, and beyond.

Christmas for Kids is a great charity organization that helps provide a merry Christmas and needed items for low income families in the Portland area.  One day a year they have a shopping event.  They match volunteers with a child and a shopping list. Volunteers spend about 90 minutes helping the child pick out items for their family, with gift cards provided by the organization. It's fun, and worth while.  Please volunteer for the Dec. 6 event if you can!
