It's a weekend full of ghosts and goblins, roaming the hallways at our historic properties. Shake your witch hat at the free Halloween parties Saturday night at: Gearhart Hotel, Wilsonville Old Church, Anderson School, Olympic Club, Kennedy School, and Old St. Francis. Friday night's '80s Video Dance Attack Halloween will have $17 tickets at the door. Or if ghost stories are more you're thing, stop by our hotel front desks and ask to take a look at the ghost logs. There's free trick-or-treating for the young and costumed from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. While kiddos weave through collecting loot, adults can collect their own handcrafted happy hour specials. Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
For the first time in the 259-year history of Samuel Smith's Brewery, their traditionally brewed Oatmeal Stout has been shipped to the United States from England in kegs! It is brewed with well water and fermented in stone Yorkshire squares to create an almost opaque ale that is wonderfully silky and smooth. The oats perfectly balance the roasted barley found in this stout to make a highly drinkable, medium dry Stout.
