Come carry on a tradition – indoors! There's free trick-or-treating for the young and costumed from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. While kiddos weave through collecting loot, adults can collect their own handcrafted happy hour specials. Ever wandered the hallways wondering what you're seeing or wanting to ask someone what it all meant? Well we have a new treat for you! Stop by the hotel front desk to sign up. Or if you see the "Pied Piper of McMenamins" leading a tour then jump on in an join the group. The more the merrier! | | Crowlers® Now at CPR Cornelius Pass Roadhouse (Hillsboro, Ore.)
We've got a fun new offering in the Roadhouse: Crowlers® – not a growler, not a traditional can, but instead a 32-ounce vessel that we fill fresh from a tap of your choice and seal up to-go. It's easier than the growler you keep forgetting at home and it keeps beer fresher, longer. Come by to see what's on tap and grab that just-for-fun stamp in your McMenamins Passport as well. | | | December to Remember: Nine Crystal Concerts Select dates, December 2-December 17 Crystal Ballroom (Portland, Ore.)
Plan now for a rockin' December with 94.7 FM's sweet lineup at the Crystal. The bad news is that several shows (including The Lumineers and Portugal. The Man) are sold out. The good news is that as of now, tickets are available for the Joywave show on Sunday, December 10, and The War on Drugs show on Monday, December 11, among others. | | | Writings from the Historians What About Bob
This week, we take a look at another of our small bars, those tiny watering holes that reflect our philosophy in which people meet and talk and share ideas and laughs and drinks and songs within very small confines. Bob would approve….

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
For the first time in the 259-year history of Samuel Smith's Brewery, their traditionally brewed Oatmeal Stout has been shipped to the United States from England in kegs! It is brewed with well water and fermented in stone Yorkshire squares to create an almost opaque ale that is wonderfully silky and smooth. The oats perfectly balance the roasted barley found in this stout to make a highly drinkable, medium dry Stout. Try it on tap (while it lasts!), then take it to go in a Crowler or a bottle. | | | McMenamins Online Shop
