Planes - Fire & Rescue / Give it a chance!

 Did you see the first Planes movie? Ugh, me too. It wasn't great. But, don't discount the second movie, "Planes, Fire & Rescue". This movie was sweet, funny and had all of the charm of Cars that you would have expected from the first movie. There are lots of funny moments and grown up humor that kids won't get but will get adults chuckling. And of course there are lots of lovable characters that kids will love too.

This year's Forest Music Concert Series begans this Saturday with Da Boogie Band!   Da Boogie Band Saturday, July 19 6:00 - 7:00pm   The concerts are open to the entire family with a suggested donation of $10 to cover the cost of the bands.  Sasquatch will be selling beer and wine and you will find some light food available. This concert will take place in the Jackson Shelter so the public can enjoy the view of the park while listening to Da Boogie Band performing New Orleans style swing. Da Boogie Band consists of eight members playing trumpet, saxophone, guitar, drums, piano, bass, plus vocals. "We love to motivate people to clap to the music, and get them out of their seats to dance," said Ron Hayes, vocalist with Da Boogie Band.     RSVP for our VIP Member's Reception before the Concert begins.   Saturday, July 19 5:00 -6:00pm   Members are invited to enjoy the forest and the Friends, receive a complimentary beverage donated by Sasquatch Brewing Company and reserve a seat for the show!
