 I received this interactive graphic on tipping from a reader of the blog.  He thought you might find it useful.  As we know, in Oregon, our minimum wage is $8.80, much higher than the national average listed on the graphic, but still quite a low wage to live on or raise a family on.  Also keep in mind that many tipped workers are taxed on tips whether they receive them or not.
